My stay at 89 Villas in El Nido had its ups and downs. The location near the beach was very nice, offering stunning views and sunsets. However, the hotel itself was still under construction, which detracted from the overall experience. The lack of completed facilities, such as the pool and restaurant, and issues with maintenance made my stay feel more like an unfinished project than a luxury getaway. 🌅🏖️

Rooms
6.0
I found the room decor quite appealing, and the views were amazing. However, the air conditioning struggled at times, and the cleaning service was lacking, with only two cleanings over six nights. I also experienced issues with the shower and plumbing, which was disappointing.
Service
5.0
While the staff were friendly enough, the service felt inconsistent. I faced challenges when trying to communicate about shuttle services because there was limited phone signal near the hotel. Additionally, there were delays with room service.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location was one of its best features, being near the beautiful beach of El Nido. However, the steep hill made access a bit tricky, and it was not ideal for families or those with mobility issues.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options were underwhelming, and drinks were not included, making it feel less worth it. The menu often ran out of ingredients, which was frustrating. I would recommend skipping the breakfast here.
Facilities
5.0
Many facilities were under construction, including the pool and lounge areas, which were disappointing given the price I paid. It felt more like a hostel experience than a full hotel.

My stay at 89 Villas was a mixed bag. The stunning views from my room made mornings special, but I had to contend with several issues. The construction work was ongoing, and there were problems with water pressure in the shower, which detracted from my experience.

Rooms

I liked the split sleeping area in my suite, but the air conditioning struggled, especially for the person sleeping upstairs. The lack of mirrors and few amenities were disappointing.
Service
6.0
The staff were attentive and did their best, but I found the housekeeping service lacking, only being done twice during my six-night stay.
Location
7.0
The location is convenient, right next to Vanilla Beach, and the view of the sunset was amazing. However, the steep walk from the reception area was a challenge.
Dining
5.0
Dining prices felt high, especially for simple items like coffee, and the breakfast menu options weren't always available. The food was decent, but I expected better for the price.
Facilities
5.0
The communal areas were under construction, making it feel like I paid for hotel amenities but ended up using hostel facilities. I hope once everything is completed, it will be more enjoyable.

The location was great, very close to Vanilla Beach, and I loved the view from my room. The steep hill was a bit challenging, but they offer a shuttle service.

The food was decent but on the pricier side for the area. I enjoyed the homemade pasta, but some items on the menu weren't available during my stay.

I had a mixed experience during my stay at 89 Villas. The location near Vanilla Beach was stunning, and the views were absolutely amazing. However, the hotel was still under construction, which caused some inconvenience, like the unfinished pool and slow Wi-Fi. Overall, it had great potential, but a few issues made my stay less than perfect.

I stayed at 89 Villas for four nights and honestly, the best part was the beach nearby—it's the best one in El Nido! However, the hotel is still under construction, which was a bummer. The pool and restaurant weren't finished, and the common areas felt unfinished. The breakfast didn't include drinks, and many items were unavailable, so I wouldn’t recommend paying for it. The room itself had very nice views and cool decor, but the cleaning was lackluster, probably due to the ongoing construction.
